The Governors would like to recruit teaching assistants to work in KS1 and KS2. Depending on experience and qualifications, we can offer either Level 1, 2 or 3 posts as training can be provided.
The role will be varied and include whole class support and working with small groups and individual children.
The hours of work are 8.45am – 3.10pm Monday to Friday, term time only (25 hours and 50 minutes per week).
A first aid qualification or the willingness to train is desirable.
Riverside Primary School is committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children and young people. The successful candidate will be subject to a Disclosure and Barring Service enhanced check and further pre-employment checks will be conducted in accordance with KCSIE. The post is exempt from the Rehabilitation of Offenders Act 1974 and the School is therefore permitted to ask job applicants to declare all convictions and cautions (including those which are "spent" unless they are "protected" under the DBS filtering rules) in order to assess their suitability to work with children
