Nursery Room Supervisor

We are looking for a dedicated Room Supervisor to join our team. If you have a passion for working with children and providing a safe and nurturing environment, we would love to hear from you.

The candidate will be responsible for:

• managing and leading a team of staff, including carrying out termly supervisions
• planning and leading staff meetings
• creating and updating staff rotas
• moderating colleague's planning and assessment
• overseeing the room and working in partnership to plan and provide a stimulating, caring and safe environment for all children
• planning for the children's activities in-line with the Early years Foundation Stage
• working closely with the management team to ensure high quality care and education is provided for all children and families
• overseeing the children's welfare and any safeguarding concerns in the room
• the role as Behaviour Management officer for the Pre-school room
• working in partnerships with outside professionals, other settings and parents / carers
• other daily tasks such as managing class lists, caring for children's physical needs and supporting children through daily care routines such as meal and snack times.

The candidate will also have a group of key children that they will be responsible for, including observing, recording and planning to support them in providing tailored care and education.
