Lisa joined Hoople in May 2023 having spent four years as Director of People & Organisational Development at her previous company. She provided functional leadership, vision and accountability for the development and delivery of the strategic people agenda, including, operational HR delivery and design and implementation of transformational people activities. Lisa brings 22 years of HR experience to Hoople, which allows her to support the development of the company as it moves through further growth and diversification.
Kelly has been with the team since Hoople began in 2011 and has been working in the recruitment sector for over 15 years, so is the fount of knowledge for clients, job applicants and her team. Managing the team, ensuring a great service is provided and advising on all matters recruitment are top of the list, as well as always making sure we're placing the best applicants in roles for our clients around the county.
Kerry originally started off within the in-house recruitment team for Hoople and Herefordshire Council, and since moved across to work with Herefordshire schools, and now specialises in helping them to secure Supply Teachers and Teaching Assistants for both long and short term cover. She subsequently has a wide understanding of all recruitment procedures and policies and prides herself on customer-focused working relationships.
After finding his passion for the world of recruitment in his previous role as a Recruitment Administrator, Nick knew that this was the career for him. Now specialising in the recruitment for our commercial customers and clients, his current responsibilities in the team include resourcing the best candidates and developing valuble client relationships.
Claire is a long-standing member of the team having joined as an apprentice at the very beginning, and has since worked her way up to Team Manager. With extensive knowledge in all aspects of Recruitment and DBS, Claire's favourite parts of the role are working with the team, building relationships with managers and providing an excellent service to all our customers.
Angel joined the Recruitment Team as an apprentice nearly five years ago! Angel started in permanent recruitment, she is now a Recruitment Consultant and works in placing agency staff within Herefordshire Council and Hoople, dealing with a huge variety of roles from Care Workers to Social Workers and everything in between.
With a background in early years teaching, safeguarding and training, Jayne has worked at Hoople from the very beginning, gaining knowledge and experience in different departments so is the fount of all Hoople knowledge!
Julie previously worked for Herefordshire Council for 24 years. Her role covers all new job adverts and new appointees for Herefordshire Council and Hoople. Julie says the best thing about her role is the great team and the challenge of learning new skills.
Sally worked for Herefordshire Council for many years, most recently in the recruitment of foster carers, and she has been able to transfer these enrolment skills into Hoople’s recruitment team. Her focus is on Hoople’s internal recruitment, which includes a huge variety of roles. Her day-to-day business involves advertising the position, arranging interviews and processing new starters, as well as attending community jobs and careers fairs.
Natasha has recently joined the recruitment team and specialises in the care sector, specifically Hoople Care. In her role, Natasha’s focus is on promoting the care services and vacancies within Hoople Care. Her aim is to attract the best candidates for the roles and to be the first point of contact to the applicants throughout the process.
Paige has recently joined the Recruitment team, with 7 years’ experience in administration-based roles. Paige now specialises in recruitment for Herefordshire Council and her day-to-day tasks include creating job adverts, liaising with new starters and carrying out pre-employment checks. Paige really enjoys her role as its always busy, and says it's a dynamic and a lovely team to work in. We agree!
Shelly has a background in psychology, Early Years and social care. She worked for Hereford Council in schools for 11 years and later as a foster carer. More recently, Shelly worked as a job coach for young adults with disabilities and then moved into recruitment, joining Hoople in 2024, so has experience in both sides of employment. She passionate about customer service.
